German sports broadcaster Sport1 has struck a rights deal with the German Handball Federation for coverage of two friendly matches featuring the country’s national team.
The deal was brokered by the Lagardère Sports agency on behalf of the federation.
Sport1 will show live coverage of Germany’s matches against Qatar on March 13 and Denmark on April 1.
The coverage will be exclusive in Germany and also available on a platform-neutral basis in Austria and Switzerland.
