German pay-television broadcaster Sportdigital and OTT sports subscription service DAZN have extended their rights deal for the Primeira Liga, the top division of Portuguese football.
The deal agreed with the Lagardère Sports agency will run for three seasons, from 2017-18 to 2019-20, and will include Benfica games for the first time.
In addition to live games, the contract includes highlights rights for both Sportdigital and DAZN.
DAZN has sublicensed its rights from Sportdigital. Its package includes at least three live games per match round, as well as weekly highlights and clip rights.
