Sportdigital snaps up Pro League rights

German pay-television broadcaster Sportdigital has acquired rights for the Pro League, the top division of Belgian football.

The length of the deal was not disclosed, but the agreement will run until at least the end of the 2014-15 season.

Live coverage will begin on July 20 with the annual Supercup contest between league champion Anderlecht and cup winner Lokeren.

In February, the league appointed the MP & Silva agency as its worldwide media adviser in a six-year deal, from 2014-15 to 2019-20.
