Italian DTT sports broadcaster Sportitalia has acquired rights to the 2015 Copa del Rey de Baloncesto, the annual knockout competition of Spanish club basketball.
The eight-team tournament commences today (Thursday), with Sportitalia broadcasting live coverage of FC Barcelona’s quarter-final clash against Valencia Basket.
Sportitalia will then broadcast Real Madrid’s quarter-final tie against CAI Zaragoza tomorrow, before covering the finale of the Copa del Rey over the weekend.
Sportitalia acquired rights to the Liga ACB, the top division of basketball in Spain, through a deal struck last month.
