Sportsfix catches Bangladesh cricket rights

Sportsfix, a new OTT service in Southeast Asia, has acquired rights to Bangladesh national cricket team home matches.

The agreement will kick off with Bangladesh’s series against Australia, with the first Test starting this Sunday.

Sportsfix executive chairman and founder Marcus Luer said: “There is a large Bangladesh community across Southeast Asia, who are as passionate about their cricket team as anyone you have ever seen. We know how to reach this audience through our telco partnerships in the region.”

Sportsfix is available in Malaysia through telecommunications company Celcom.
