The Sportsman Media Group agency will continue to distribute the rights for Spanish football’s top-tier league, La Liga, in Germany and Austria, after agreeing a three-year deal, from 2012-13 to 2014-15, with the Mediapro agency.
Sportsman is responsible for the distribution of the league in Germany and Austria in the current three-year rights cycle, from 2009-10 to 2011-12. It is understood the agency is paying Mediapro over €2.5 million ($3.4 million) per year in the current deal.
