Spring Media agency recruits Petter Werner to sales and acquisitions team

Sports media agency Spring Media has recruited Petter Werner, formally of the EBU and Lagardère, to its sales and acquisitions team in Stockholm.

It has also announced the appointment of Petter Norström as group chief financial officer, who will take responsibility over all financial aspects of Spring Media including subsidiaries Sportacentrs, Staylive and Fanseat.

Spring Media agreed a deal this month to acquire Fanseat, a global sports streaming service, from Finnish telco Elisa.

The company this year became exclusive advisors to the Belgian Pro League on its international media rights over the remainder of this season and 2019-20.
