Swiss public-service broadcaster SRG has secured rights to domestic club football competition the Schweizer Cup, along with matches played by the women’s national team, as part of a wide-ranging deal with the Swiss Football Association (SFV).
The six-season contract will run from 2018-19 to 2023-24, with RSI, RTR, RTS and SRF continuing to offer live and highlights coverage of the Schweizer Cup across television and digital platforms.
The women’s Schweizer Cup is also included under the deal, along with Switzerland’s national women’s teams and the men’s national teams from Under-21 to Under-15 level.
SRG has already secured rights to senior men’s national team matches through to the 2022 Fifa World Cup in Qatar.
