The Watch & Bet service of sports data and AI technology company Stats Perform has been chosen by the Norwegian state lottery’s sportsbook, Norsk Tipping, as its sole live streaming video supplier.
Watch & Bet will offer thousands of premium streams for Norwegian gamblers, including Spanish LaLiga and French Ligue 1 amongst over 80 other football competitions, together with the likes of IIHF ice hockey events, WTA and ATP tennis tournaments and European Handball Federation competitions.
Hans Erland Ringsvold, head of gaming operations at Norsk Tipping, said: “Stats Perform came through as the preferred streaming service provider after a competitive tender process with a strong portfolio of live vision rights, good 24/7 coverage and events with high attractivity for the Norwegian market.”
Earlier this week, Stats Perform agreed a wide-ranging deal with Cricket South Africa covering the governing body’s international and domestic competitions. As CSA’s official data partner, Stats Perform’s Opta and RunningBall brands will collect, analyse and deliver official ‘ultrafast’ data and ball-by-ball event data to global broadcast, media, and betting operators.
Stats Perform will also distribute exclusive live match video streams to licensed global sportsbook operators through Watch&Bet. Stats Perform will also deliver CSA news clips to media worldwide through its editorial content service.
The deal includes live streams and live data for all South Africa home international fixtures, as well as CSA’s domestic competitions.
