The London Marathon has signed a three-year broadcast rights partnership with the TCB Sport Media agency.
Under the agreement, TCB Sport Media will handle all international television rights deals for the London Marathon – a member of the World Marathon Majors group alongside the events in Boston, Chicago, New York, Berlin and Tokyo.
TCB Sport Media was launched in September after founder Danny O’Toole left his previous post as head of sport and entertainment at the BBC Worldwide division of the UK public-service broadcaster. The agency replaces BBC Worldwide as the London Marathon’s global rights distributor.
The 2015 London Marathon takes place on April 26.
