Broadband provider Telecom New Zealand has agreed a deal with Coliseum Sports Media, the rights-holder for the English Premier League in the country, to offer customers access to coverage of England’s top football division.
Coliseum recently struck a three-year deal to show the Premier League, from 2013-14 to 2015-16, on its PremierLeaguePass.com online portal.
Under the deal, Telecom will act as the website’s official telecommunications and information and communications technology partner.
Existing Telecom broadband customers will be able to claim a 15-per-cent discount on the PremierLeaguePass.com ‘Season Pass’ to access all 380 live games.
New broadband customers signing up for a mid-range plan on a 12-month contract can also select a free ‘Season Pass’.
