Belgian pay-television broadcaster Telenet has confirmed it has extended a rights deal for football’s English Premier League.
The exclusive deal will run for three seasons, from 2016-17 to 2018-19. The rights will be exploited via Telenet’s Play Sports service.
The agreement was first reported by TV Sports Markets on December 4, with the league brokering a series of rights deals across Europe in recent weeks.
