Telenet extends F1 rights in Belgium

Belgian pay-television broadcaster Telenet has extended a rights deal for the Formula One motor-racing world championship.

The new agreement, which covers Flemish-speaking Belgium, will run for three years, from 2017 to 2019.

Telenet’s Play Sports service will provide five channels to cover the championship.

The broadcaster will show live coverage and highlights of all of the races and qualifying sessions.
