Pay-television broadcaster Ten Sports, which operates in the Indian subcontinent, has acquired rights for the English Football League and League Cup club tournaments as well as the Brazil World Tour, which features Brazil national team friendly matches.
Ten Sports said that it struck the deal with the MP & Silva agency.
The broadcaster said that the Brazil World Tour deal will run until at least the end of 2014, but the lengths of the deals for the English tournaments were not disclosed.
The Football League includes the three divisions of football below the top-tier Premier League, and the league operates the League Cup knockout tournament, featuring teams from all four divisions.
In April, MP & Silva announced that it had secured distribution rights for the Brazil World Tour in Asia through to 2018.
