Asian pay-television broadcaster Ten Sports has agreed a three-year deal, from 2012 to 2014 for rights to the Brazilian Serie A, the top-tier Brazilian football league, and the Campeonato Paulista, the São Paulo state championship.
Ten Sports will show 54 exclusively live matches from the Serie A, and 28 matches from the Paulista championship, also exclusively live.
Additionally, the pay-television broadcaster will show two highlights programmes under the new deal.
Ten Sports recently acquired rights to France’s top-tier domestic league and league cup competitions, Ligue 1 and the Coupe de La Ligue, as well as English football’s second-tier domestic league, the Football League Championship, and the country’s League Cup knockout competition.
