The Rugby International Marketing arm of national governing body USA Rugby has secured a number of carriage deals for its new OTT platform, the Rugby Channel.
The Rugby Channel will now be available through digital media player Apple TV, streaming platform Roku and Google’s internet streaming service Chromecast.
Each platform will have a native application for the Rugby Channel, which is also now available as an app for iOS and Android tablet devices via the iTunes and Goole Play app stores.
The launches come ahead of the Rugby Channel’s ‘Summer Series’, which will feature live coverage of various matches, including the US and Canadian national teams.
The Rugby Channel will also stream live coverage of the USA Rugby women’s team contests against England, France and Canada.
