English Premier League football club Aston Villa has agreed a two-year deal with US cable-television operator Time Warner Cable Sports to broadcast its international television programme, Aston Villa Weekly, in the Southern California area.
The agreement, covering the 2013-14 and 2014-15 seasons, will allow Aston Villa Weekly to be broadcast each week on regional channel Time Warner Cable SportsNet and Spanish-language platform Time Warner Cable Deportes.
Aston Villa Weekly is a three-hour programme focusing on all of Villa’s English Premier League games. The weekly show features Villa’s most recent Premier League game in full, as well as interviews, news and behind-the-scenes features from the club.
Aston Villa is owned by US businessman Randy Lerner and counts American goalkeeper Brad Guzan amongst its playing squad.
