TLN and Univision pick up Pan Am Games rights in host nation

Canadian pay-television broadcasters TLN and Univision Canada have acquired Spanish-language rights to the 2015 Pan American Games multi-sport event, which will be held in Toronto next year.

In a deal struck with the Toronto 2015 Pan Am/Parapan Am Games Organising Committee (TO2015), the two broadcasters will dedicate over 100 hours of coverage and promotion of the Games, including pre-event specials, live broadcasts, nightly highlights and Hispanic-Canadian community grassroots programming.

TLN is also collaborating on television coverage with ESPN Deportes, the Spanish-language broadcaster of the Games in the US.

The 2015 Pan Am Games will run from July 10-26 in the Canadian city, with the Parapan Am Games following on August 7-15.
