TNA Wrestling set to receive German platform

The TNA (Total Nonstop Action) Impact Wrestling series will be broadcast by German free-to-air television channel DMAX, according to the DWDL.de website.

The agreement is a result of US media and entertainment company Discovery Communications signing a multi-year rights deal with TNA in November to broadcast the professional league on the Destination America channel.

The deal also provided Discovery Communications, Destination America’s owner, with rights in selected international regions, with DWDL.de stating it has agreed terms with DMAX for rights in Germany.

Terms of the agreement were not disclosed, but it is expected that a series of six weekly shows featuring German commentary will commence in March.
