Top-of-the-table Championship clash to be offered live streaming showcase

The Rugby Football Union has said it will provide free live streaming of the Championship game between London Irish and Yorkshire Carnegie on November 5.

The clash from the second tier of English club rugby union will be streamed on EnglandRugby.com and England Rugby’s page on social media platform Facebook.

Nigel Melville, director of professional rugby at the RFU, said: “Being able to live stream this game provides us with a great opportunity to make games more accessible to fans and subsequently gives the Greene King IPA Championship more presence. With this comes the ability to open the tournament up to new audiences and demonstrate the high level of competition and quality rugby that is played in this competition.”

London Irish and Yorkshire Carnegie currently occupy the top two places in the Championship table.
