Total Sports Asia, the Kuala Lumpur-based agency, has acquired rights to market two upcoming friendly matches involving Barcelona and Argentina star, Lionel Messi.
The agency will distribute rights to the two matches, which take place on June 17 and June 23, to the Asian market.
The first match, the Copa Mundo Maya, in Cancun, Mexico, will see Messi turn out for an American all-star side, against a ‘stars of Mexico’ team. Miami, Florida, hosts the second game, the World Soccer Masters, which involves a number of other big name players, such as Didier Drogba, Alessandro Nesta and Diego Forlan.
