TSN extends deal for Toronto Rock coverage

Canadian pay-television sports broadcaster TSN has acquired rights for games featuring the Toronto Rock team in the country’s National Lacrosse League.

TSN will show 10 home and away matches live in a deal that will run for the duration of 2013.

Live coverage of the games will also be available via the TSN Mobile TV service.

The broadcaster, which is owned by telecommunications company Bell, struck the agreement directly with the club.

“TSN is proud to be the Toronto Rock’s official broadcast partner for a fourth consecutive year and give Canadians the opportunity to see the team take on some of the best in the National Lacrosse League this season,” TSN vice-president of programming Shawn Redmond said.
