The International Basketball Federation (Fiba) has agreed a rights deal in the Philippines with commercial broadcaster TV5.
The five-year deal runs from 2017 to 2021 and grants TV5 exclusive rights in the Philippines to Fiba national team tournaments.
The agreement covers the 2019 World Cup in China, as well as continental competitions.
The deal is effective across free-to-air and pay-television platforms, as well as online and across mobile devices.
The agreement was brokered by Fiba Media, the strategic partnership between Fiba and digital sports media company Perform.
