US horseracing pay-television broadcaster TVG has struck a multi-year extension to its rights agreement with the New York Racing Association.
TVG will continue to broadcast and stream live horse races from the NYRA’s Aqueduct Racetrack, Belmont Park and Saratoga Racecourse on a daily basis.
Coverage will be broadcast across TVG’s network and streamed live via its official website and mobile application.
TVG will also increase the exposure of high-definition broadcasts of races from premier thoroughbred races though its network.
Further programme enhancements will also include the broadcast of additional race features and increased on-site production at Belmont Park and Saratoga Racecourse.
TVG is distributed nationally in over 36 million households and simulcast regularly on regional sports networks throughout the US, including the Fox family of regional sports networks.
