Polish commercial broadcaster TVN has applied for a licence for a new sports channel.
The application for TVN Sportive, along with another new channel TVN Fabula, has been made to Poland’s National Broadcasting Council (KRRiT).
When contacted by Wirtualne Media, TVN did not offer any further details on the application, but the website said the new channel could be offered via digital terrestrial television.
The broadcaster’s proposal for TVN Sportive comes with it having not directly concerned itself with sport in the past.
