Twitch to show ELeague

Social video platform Twitch has secured a multi-year deal to show coverage of the ELeague esports competition.

Twitch reached the deal with US media company Turner and the WME | IMG agency.

The agreement includes live and on-demand coverage, beginning with the launch of the ELeague tomorrow (Tuesday).

Twitch will stream six games per day during the six-week regular-season schedule. Coverage will begin at midday eastern time or at 2pm on Thursdays.

All of the ELeague’s live tournaments will be available through the competition’s channel on Twitch and via the platform’s embeddable player.
