The International Cycling Union (UCI) will provide exclusive live coverage of Dame Sarah Storey’s Hour Record attempt via its official channel on video-sharing platform YouTube.
Storey (pictured) is Great Britain’s most decorated female Paralympian with six gold medals in road and track cycling across the last two Paralympic Games.
She will make her attempt to break the 46.065km mark set by Leontien Zijlaard-van Moorsel in Mexico City in 2003 at the Lee Valley Velopark in London on February 28.
A change of rules regarding pursuit bikes and equipment has led to a number of recent attempts on the men’s hour record, with the UCI YouTube channel having streamed the previous four.
