Uefa postpones Philippines rights tender

Uefa, football’s European governing body, has postponed the sales process for the media rights in the Philippines to the European qualifiers for the Euro 2016 and 2018 Fifa World Cup international football competitions.

Uefa has not set a date for when the rescheduled tender will take place.

The CAA Eleven agency is handling the sales process for the competitions on behalf of Uefa.

The postponement of the tender comes after the Philippines region was struck by Typhoon Haiyan last week. The Typhoon has left over 3,600 people dead and affected more than 11.5 million people.
