The CAA Eleven agency has launched an invitation to tender for the media rights in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Cyprus to European qualifiers for the Uefa Euro 2016 and 2018 Fifa World Cup national team football tournaments.
Bids for the rights in Germany, Austria and Switzerland must be submitted by June 30, with offers for the Cypriot contract due by July 3.
All four of the tenders exclude rights to the respective country’s national team matches. For Germany the exclusion of live matches is limited to free to air exploitation only.
The rights will run for four years, from 2014-15 to 2017-18. The CAA Eleven agency is selling the rights on behalf of football’s European governing body, Uefa.
