US sports broadcaster Universal Sports Network, a subsidiary of the NBC network, has acquired rights for the inaugural La Course by Le Tour de France cycling race on July 27.
Universal Sports Network will provide live coverage of the one-day event.
Exact broadcast times will be announced at a later date.
The race will feature 100 cyclists racing for 90km of the Tour’s final circuit, finishing with a sprint down the Champs-Élysées in Paris.
