The US Figure Skating governing body has launched a new OTT pass in partnership with NBC Sports Group.
The Figure Skating Pass, available on the NBC Sports Gold direct-to-consumer live-streaming service, will offer fans live and on-demand coverage of domestic and international competitions, as well as content that was previously available on the IceNetwork.com website.
The coverage will begin with the 2018-19 season and follows US Figure Skating’s extended media-rights deal with NBC Sports Group through to 2026.
As part of the deal, NBC Sports Gold will also offer the Speed Skating Pass, featuring coverage of short-track and speed-skating events, including the International Skating Union World Cup and World Championship, beginning with the 2018-19 season.
