UK-based online news and entertainment company Unilad has agreed a deal to stream live coverage of the 2017 Varsity Match rugby union series between the universities of Cambridge and Oxford in the UK.
Unilad will stream coverage of both the men’s and women’s Varsity Matches via its official page on social media platform Facebook.
UK public-service broadcaster the BBC will also provide coverage, as will the official Varsity Match website.
Both matches will take place at Twickenham Stadium in London on December 7.
David Searle, chief executive of the Varsity Match Company, said: “We are continually looking at new, innovative ways to grow and develop the event, and we look forward to moving the matches further into the modern area, opening up the occasion to a younger, more social media-focused audience.”
