Under the deal, a new esports league will be launched in France, with coverage of the tournament and other ESL events being shown on Canal Plus platforms and Vivendi’s video-sharing website, Dailymotion.

Canal Plus will show a new magazine programme, Esports Canal Club, which will be dedicated to esports. Canal Plus will also show Game Fever, a documentary focused on esports, on October 26, before broadcasting coverage of Paris Games Week from October 27-31.
