Vietnamese public-service broadcaster VTV has been confirmed as the host broadcaster for the 2016 Asian Beach Games.
The multi-sport event, which will take place in Danang, Vietnam, will run from September 24 to October 3.
VTV will show the opening and closing ceremonies, as well as live coverage of the beach volleyball, beach soccer, beach handball and beach sepaktakraw competitions.
About 168 hours of coverage are set to be shown on the VTV6 and VTV8 channels, while the company will also produce a five-minute daily highlights round-up and a 26-minute daily magazine programme.
