State-owned Vietnamese cable television broadcaster VTVcab has acquired live rights to the 2013 season of Japanese football competition, the J. League, according to the VNS newspaper.
Live broadcasting of J. League matches will begin on VTVcab in July, making it the first Asian football competition to be screened in Vietnam.
Coverage will be shown on ThethaoTV and BongdaTV, as well as on the HD versions of both channels.
In addition, VTVcab will also produce a J-League highlights show.
