Wige will distribute the rights under a partnership with the German hockey federation (DHB). Wige will also provide satellite play-out services for match and news coverage.
This is the first year that the EuroHockey Nations Championship will combine women’s and men’s competitions in one tournament.
“The cooperation promises extensive television coverage on the international market,” Torsten Bartel, a spokesman for the DHB, said.
