Australia’s Women’s National Basketball League (WNBL) has teamed up with live sport and event broadcasting company Sportscast Australia to stream live coverage of its upcoming Grand Final Series via social media platform Facebook.
The 2016-17 Grand Final Series pits the Brydens Sydney University Flames against Dandenong Rangers.
The best-of-three-series begins on Saturday, with further games to be played on March 17 and March 19. Each match will be streamed worldwide via the league’s official Facebook page.
The WNBL has been without a television broadcast partner since public-service operator ABC ended its long-running coverage in 2015.
