WWE Network set to launch in Germany

The WWE wrestling organisation will launch its WWE Network pay-television channel in Germany on January 5.

George Barrios, WWE chief strategy and financial officer, told German newspaper Handelsblatt that the country will become the latest expansion market for WWE Network as Germany is “very important for us.”

The WWE has sold its programming in Germany since 1989 and holds an office in Munich.

The launch of WWE Network in Germany comes after it debuted in the Indian subcontinent on November 2.
