Yaveo, the Spanish-language over-the-top streaming service from pay-television broadcaster DirecTV, has struck a deal to stream live coverage of the new Combate Americas mixed martial arts series.
Beginning with the series’ inaugural ‘Road To The Championship’ event in Nevada, US, on September 1, Yaveo will stream live coverage of all preliminary bouts.
Each preliminary fight card will precede a live, two-hour telecast of events on NBC Universo, the Spanish-language channel owned by the NBC Sports Group division of media company NBCUniversal.
Yaveo will also offer on-demand replays of all bouts as well as exclusive behind-the-scenes coverage of Combate Americas athletes.
To complement the streaming deal, the length of which was not disclosed, Yaveo will also serve as title sponsor of the Combate Americas series.
