YuppTV scoops up rights to US-staged West Indies v India series

YuppTV, an over-the-top service that specialises in providing South Asian content to viewers in North America and the Caribbean, has acquired rights for the upcoming Twenty20 cricket series between India and the West Indies.

The exclusive deal covers the matches on August 27 and 28, with the games set to take place in the US city of Fort Lauderdale.

YuppTV will provide live coverage via internet-connected televisions and Blu-Ray players, laptops, gaming consoles, streaming devices, tablets and smartphones.

The games will be broadcast in the United States, Canada and the Caribbean islands.
