Belgium’s Pro League is to study the launch of its own subscription service to showcase matches after opting against accepting the latest broadcast rights bids.

Proximus has renewed an agreement for pay-television rights in Belgium to football’s Uefa Champions League, but it will no longer have exclusivity in the category after rival telco Telenet also secured rights for the 2024-27 cycle.
