US media company Universal Sports Network has renewed and expanded a rights deal for European International Ski Federation (FIS) World Cup events.

Swedish public-service broadcaster SVT has agreed a five-year extension to its rights deal for a range of International Ski Federation (FIS) events, under an agreement brokered by the Infront Sports & Media agency.

The German Ski Association, the Deutscher Skiverband (DSV), secured a small increase in the value of its media rights outside Germany in a renewal with the Infront Sports & Media agency this week.

The NBC Sports Group division of media company NBCUniversal has reached an agreement with the US Ski and Snowboard Association to broadcast the International Ski Federation’s (FIS) 2015 Alpine World Championships in Vail/Beaver Creek.
