Video-sharing website Dailymotion has formed a strategic partnership with SNTV, the sports video news agency operated by IMG and the Associated Press, in a bid to build its sports content.
Under the partnership, SNTV crews at major sports events across the world will gather content which will then be uploaded to Dailymotion for viewers to access free of charge. Approximately 10 videos a day will be uploaded as part of the service.
Marc Eychenne, head of international content at Dailymotion, said: “We intend to build on this (agreement) in the coming months with further deals for live and archived sports content, all designed to make Dailymotion the home of sport online.”
