The Fédération Equestre Internationale (FEI), equestrian sport’s global governing body, has invited proposals from media companies to deliver the production, sales and distribution of live, news, highlights, magazine and other programming across major championships.
The FEI is seeking media partnerships for events such as the World Equestrian Games, the European Championships in the Olympic disciplines of dressage, eventing and jumping, the World Cup Jumping and World Cup
Dressage events, the international jumping circuit’s Nations Cup, and World Cup events in driving and vaulting.
No timelines or deadlines surrounding possible deals were provided by the FEI.
Interested parties have been asked to submit proposals to FEI commercial manager Christian Osterode.
Lisa Lazarus, the FEI’s chief of strategy and business development said: “We value highly the work of our current partners in production, sales and distribution, but are aware that we also need to explore the constantly evolving media market as part of our responsibility towards our different stakeholders in order to maximise the global visibility of our sport.”
