The International Paralympic Committee has announced it will stream live coverage of the forthcoming 2013 IPC Athletics World Championships through its official channel on video-sharing website YouTube.
Live coverage of the Championships, which will take place in the French city of Lyon from July 19-28, will be shown via the ParalympicSportTV page.
Several broadcasters have announced they will provide live television coverage of the championships, including French public-service broadcaster France Televisions, UK commercial broadcaster Channel 4 and Brazilian pay-television broadcaster SporTV.
The IPC said that “several members” of public-service broadcaster consortium the European Broadcasting Union, which holds the rights to the event in Europe, have also expressed their interest in covering the event.
