A charity tennis match between stars Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal will be shown in France by L’Équipe, the free-to-air digital terrestrial broadcaster.
L’Équipe will air live coverage of the match, which will be played in Cape Town on 7 February.
The match will be played at 8pm locally (7pm CET) at the 50,000-seat Cape Town Stadium. Celebrity doubles games will also feature, including Federer and Microsoft founder Bill Gates facing Nadal and South African comedian Trevor Noah.
Organisers are hoping to set a world record for the most attendees at a tennis match with net proceeds to be donated to the Roger Federer Foundation’s programmes in the region.
