Indonesian media group MNC has acquired rights to the next two editions of multi-sport event the Southeast Asian Games.
The 2019 SEA Games takes place in the Philippines from November 30 to December 11, with the Vietnamese capital Hanoi due to host the next edition in 2021.
MNC operates a range of free-to-air and pay-television channels. The Jakarta Post newspaper said it will provide coverage of 11 sports from this year’s Games, including aquatics events, athletics, badminton, football and esports.
MNC will utilise its portfolio of platforms including television channels RCTI, MNCTV, GTV and iNews, as well as digital platforms RCTI+, metube and Roof.
The Post said coverage will also be available on okezone.com, sindonews.com, inews.id, the Koran Sindo daily newspaper, MNC Trijaya radio station, Global Radio, V Radio and Radio RDI.
