The organising committee for Santiago’s 2023 Pan American and Parapan American Games has opened up the domestic rights to other free-to-air broadcasters in Chile following the controversy caused by an exclusive agreement with TVN, the public-service broadcaster in the South American country.
In a statement, the organising committee said that its board of directors has agreed to the possibility of free-to-air networks joining the broadcast of the event “in conjunction” with TVN.
