Portuguese pay-television broadcaster Sport TV has struck a deal with the country’s national airline, TAP, to show a daily news programme on flights.
The 30-minute show will be offered as part of TAP’s in-flight entertainment package for long-haul flights.
The programme will feature a variety of clips and news segments, updated on a daily basis.
The length of the deal was not disclosed.
Sport TV, a major sports broadcaster in Portugal, recently acquired a package of rights for the upcoming Uefa Euro 2016 national team football tournament in a sublicensing deal with public-service broadcaster RTP.
