Telecommunications company Telekom Romania has extended a carriage deal with the Discovery Romania division of international media and entertainment provider Discovery Communications.
Under the renewal, Telekom Romania and NextGen customers will be able to access Eurosport channels, which are operated by Discovery.
Subscribers will be able to access Eurosport 1, Eurosport 2 and the Eurosport 360 service, as well as a variety of Discovery’s other channels.
As part of the deal, the Dolce Sport channel, which is operated by Telekom Romania, will show coverage of Sunday afternoon English Premier League football matches. Eurosport, the rights-holder for the league in Romania, will show the fixtures on Fridays, Saturdays and Mondays on Eurosport 1.
